WHY SOLAR?

WHY SOLAR?

Advantages of solar energy for your business by taking advantage of open roof space, you can:

1. Reduces Electricity bills
Since you will be meeting some of your energy needs with the electricity your solar system has generated, your energy bills will drop. How much you save on your bill will be dependent on the size of the solar system and your electricity usage.

2. Low operating costs
The photovoltaic process that transforms sunlight into electricity doesn’t require any fuel and has no variable costs.

3. Solar Power Is A Free Source of Energy
The sun provides us with more energy than we could ever use, and no one can monopolies the sunlight. Your solar power system will start saving money from the moment it’s turned on, however, the advantages of solar power are best visible in the long-term. The longer you have your solar power system, the more you enjoy the benefits of solar technology and support the environment.

4. Reduces your carbon footprint
CO₂-free, No harmful emissions are released into the air when electricity is produced by solar panels. Among all the benefits of solar panels, the most important thing is that solar energy is a truly renewable energy source. It can be harnessed in all areas of the world and is available every day. We cannot run out of solar energy, unlike some of the other sources of energy.
Solar energy will be accessible as long as we have the sun, therefore sunlight will be available to us for at least 5 billion years when according to scientists the sun is going to die.

Grid-Connected Solar with Zero-Export

How solar works

As the electricity authorities in Thailand has yet to allow solar electricity from the industrial building, our solar system is designed to have fully complied with MEA/PEA’s requirement.

When solar produces less electricity than the factory load, the grid electricity will automatically supplement the shortage. When solar PV is able to produce more electricity than the load demand, the solar inverter will ramp down the production of solar electricity to ensure zero-export to the power grid.

FAQ

– Sell extra solar power back.

Electricity generated by the solar PV system will be consumed by the electrical load in your house. Any excess electricity generated will be exported to the national grid. A ‘bi-directional’ meter will be installed in place of the existing one-way meter to record how much electricity has been exported to the grid.

– Cheaper bill.

There will be a reduction in the amount of electricity you purchase from the grid after installing a solar PV system at your home. Additionally, any excess electricity that is exported to the grid will be credited to your account.

– Better protection.

The solar panels act as an additional layer of protection to your roof, shielding it from the elements and prolonging its life span. Our clients have experienced cooler homes due to the thermal insulation solar panels provide. There is also a significant noise reduction during thunderstorms.

– At least 25 years.

The typical lifespan of solar PV systems is at least 25 years. Systems that lasted for 40 years is not rare. Our solar panels come with a 25-year warranty.

– Yes.

Yes, the system will still produce power during cloudy and rainy days. However, the yield will be lower than clear, sunny days.

– Through App or website.

We will set up a monitoring system that can be accessed via a smartphone app or website. You will be able to track the daily performance of your system.

– Minimal maintenance.

Solar PV systems typically require minimal maintenance as there are no moving parts in the system. The most important thing is to keep the panels clean. We offer 2 years of free maintenance for all our customers.

– 7-10 days.

On average, it takes 7-10 working days for the on-site installation. Following that, we will apply for testing & commissioning from the utility grid. This process includes electrical design, permitting and inspections.

– Entire house.

Unlike a solar heater that only serves one specific equipment, power from the solar panels can be used to power up every single connected equipment in the house at the same time.

– Yes.

Yes. 4 reasons.

1. Unlike countries with 4 seasons, we have strong sunlight all year round, and it’s getting hotter.
2. Electricity tariff is increasing gradually, insulate yourself with our high-efficiency solar PV solution.
3. In Singapore, solar owners can sell extra generated power back to the grid and get credited.
4. Survey shows that >90% of Singaporeans are aware and willing to do their part for the environment with their respective capabilities, leaving a hopeful environment for future generations.
